PROJECT BACKGROUND

Brianna Phelps, an emerging artist located in Memphis, TN, was looking for a personal logo for branding when clients started inquiring about buying her paintings. Brianna is known for incorporating nature in her paintings. The key to designing the logo would be to keep it clean while incorporating what drives Brianna’s art.

THE SOLUTION

I kept the design clean when creating the logo while incorporating Brianna’s inspiration for painting. Along with Brianna’s inspiration for art, she is also very passionate about our environment. A big part of this for her is the protection of our oceans. I took the opportunity to incorporate Polynesian symbolism for the sea into the logo while also using the negative space to create the letter b.
