PROJECT BACKGROUND

When the owner of an information technology startup came to me looking for a logo; that would showcase his love for technology and hiking, we knew a challenge was ahead. While chatting with the owner, he mentioned while hiking that they used the method of trail blazing to mark pathways. Blazes are signs or markings on prominent trees at eye level that follow a specific path.

THE SOLUTION

We created a logo around a trail blaze, which hikers use to follow a given path. We incorporated lines to represent the copper traces of a circuit board, which provide pathways for signals like the trail blaze does for hikers. The owner was happy with the final results.
